Botanist & Florist. (Common) — When seeking herbs or flowers, or simply information about the local flora, one can easily run into Vidhi as she gathers reagents or decoration materials. Strike up a conversation, and one will find that she knows much and more of plants and their uses.

Cafe & Apothecary Owner (Common) — Some who come to the Verdant Café are there for the Hannish treats or chai, just as some travel to the Starling's Respite for bespoke herbal remedies. But regulars for both know that Vidhi is their connecting thread, and often come into either establishment to find time to chat with the hostess.

Multicultural Performance . (Uncommon) — Well known under the stage name of "Starling" or "Darling Starling," Vidhi has for years performed on stage as a singer and dancer. Her work, while Hannish in origin, oft incorporates her Turalian heritage, producing a songstress able to capture hearts on any side of the sea.

Advarithi Gharana [High Society – Thavnair] (Uncommon) — Those who find themselves in the heights of Radz-at-Han culture often hear of the illustrious Advarithi family, whether in context as a gharana of musicians or as patrons of other arts. But while an almost entirely hyur family, Vidhi herself has become a more common fixture under their auspices, her miqo'te appearance making her stand out all the more.

Minor Dignitary [High Society – Ishgard] (Uncommon) — While rare, every so often an Ishgardian function finds itself graced by the daughter of a Thavnairian noble family and wife of a Knight Dragoon. In this role, Vidhi provides a much needed external perspective to Ishgardian politick.

Hopeful Dervish (Rare) — There are those all around the star, from Shaaloani to Yanxia, who occasionally mention a lavender-haired miqo'te adventurer whose weaponskills and magic helped them out of a tight spot, especially some survivors of the Final Days. Their memories of such a woman match Vidhi perfectly.

Garlemald Radio Ghost . (Very Rare) — As the restoration of Garlemald continues, there are occasional uncredited songs sung over the radio in a heartbreaking, accented voice. Those with sharp ears for music, or who've been listening to the songstress therein, may well notice that Vidhi's own singing voice matches the recordings perfectly...but why?

Follower of Nad-Brahma. (Very Rare) — There are some who do not believe that the Twelve were the true creators of the world, but instead hold more esoteric beliefs in the Divine Song. While not mainstream by any means, those who hear of such a belief can see its influence in Vidhi's music, which can almost seem to be a divinely enchanted performance.

✷Truths✷

Aether Sense. The souls of those about her glow with aetheric light to Vidhi's vision, allowing her to determine and distinguish people without needing to see their faces. It also helps her notice anyone with abnormal aether, for better or worse. Should you find yourself being noticed by her, be gentle with her, and know your secrets are well kept. After all, she wishes to never use her knowledge to intervene in others' lives.

Hypertuned. Courtesy of her kidnapper and [redacted], Vidhi was shaped into a more 'perfect' spellcaster via Garlean science. Her senses were heightened, her eyesight changed to permanently allow her aethersight, and her body turned into a better conduit for aether. All it took was irreversible scarring on her body and necrosis on her arms.

Akashic Powers. While not fully understood by Vidhi herself, she is able to call upon her truest emotions in times of need, calling forth a font of akasha within her. This often happens unbidden, changing her body to reflect her soul, but as time goes on, Vidhi becomes more and more able to shape the world around her in tune with her heart.

Empathic Senses. The emotions of those around her flow into Vidhi's ears like the raga and rasa of her father's gharana. The longer she has spent around a person, the louder and more clearly their emotions can be heard. Take care that you do not sing too sweetly to her, for if she attunes to you, you will have a life long devoted partner for years to come. Whether friend or romantic partner, her attunement means she will walk beside you for life.

Soul. Due to her nature, the experiments done to her, and her adventuring years, Vidhi's soul is extremely aetherically weak, appearing as a dark abyss lit with the flickering light of countless dying stars. Or perhaps her soul is a moonless night lit by fleeting fireflies. So while she is left with a high susceptibility to aether sickness, her resolve ensures that she will never allow her light to fade, nor her hope.
